CCE Hub Latin America is a Program part of the Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship (CCE) of the United States Department of State, that seeks to address the climate crisis and contribute to economic empowerment in developing countries by promoting entrepreneurship focused on climate solutions. We are the implementing partner, with PVBLIC Foundation, to roll out our cleantechHUB model and programs in the new to set up CCE Hubs in cooperation with local universities: LCI Veritas in Costa Rica, Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala, Universidad Externado in Colombia, and Universidad del Pacífico en Perú.

P4G contributes to green and inclusive growth in low- and middle-income countries by helping early-stage businesses become investment-ready and supporting country climate transitions in food, water and energy systems. It provides grants and technical assistance to green growth partnerships to become investment-ready, contributes to enabling systems improvements in partner countries, and shares learning with P4G countries and beyond. Two of our start-ups (SEOS & Zhana) received grant funding (for a total of +1 mln) and we also act as a fund manager (Fund management: P4G / DeepSea / CleantechHUB) for one of their investments to reduce risks and optimize returns by providing hands-on support.

Announcement of new CCE HUBs 2025

Launch of CCE HUB Colombia, Costa Rica and Guatemala

As part of the CCE Hub Latin America initiative, CleantechHUB aims to establish El Salvador as one of the new CCE Hubs within the regional program by 2025. We received financial support from the Netherlands Embassy for Central America based in Costa Rica to prepare for the start of a CCE Hub in El Salvador.

The Embassy has also sponsored the CCE Hubs in Costa Rica and Guatemala with the local Climathons 2024, 1K each.

The UNDP-AFCIA programme is this strategic platform is designed to advance scaled-up adaptation efforts at the local level, with a specific focus on civil society, non-governmental organizations, and innovative women entrepreneurs and young people. AFCIA IS supported by financial contributions from the Adaptation Fund and the European Union. To date, it has granted 44 micro and small awards to locally-led organizations in 33 countries worldwide, accelerating their innovative solutions to enhance resilience in the most vulnerable communities. We received financial support to grow our incubation & acceleration programs.
